Its light 1.6L color contributes a pale-straw color to wort and adds mild malty-sweet flavor with gentle notes of honey. Soft, floral, and spicy character with a smooth bitterness. Substantial improvement in body and mouthfeel as well as good foam development and head retention. Well-suited for use with any beer style, Pilsner is an excellent choice for brewing clear, clean-tasting lagers.
